Lakamas Roots tells a story of camas, a sacred first food of the PNW. The golden base radiates warmth like the earth cradling the bulbs, while streams of purple and blue evoke it’s preferred moist grounds. The camas holds stories of patience, with the bulb taking many years to reach harvestable size, and the enduring, unbroken threads of ancestral knowledge. Camas also teaches about the balance of what is seen and unseen, the strength beneath the surface.
Material: Silk chartreuse
Size: 26×26in.
The sisters represent the balance, grace, and femininity of the trillium flower and medicinal history.
